The Brooklyn Paper; Mean Streets.

The article Mean Streets is about how people who are anti bike lane are wasting money on lawsuits trying to take out the lane. The main point of the article was to say how the city has already spent more then 140,000 dollars to defend the Prospect Park bike lane. The article included interviews with people like Mitch Sonies a lawyer who thinks taking off the lane is " An Outrage," and Jim Walden who is against the bike lanes.

I think that the bike lanes should not be taken off. I believe the shouldn't be taken off because they are good for cyclist and keeps them out of danger from cars. I also disagree because the article says that the people who were fighting to take it off said it " turned the peaceful streets into a danger zone for pedestrians." I believe thats not right because its good for cyclist and they are pedestrians.
